Questions about how we experience places guide my work: how we navigate architectural and landscape space, and our inner responses to both. Working in installation, with fibres, live plants, simple circuitry and video, my work explores and evokes neglected architectures and the presence of the wild creeping in.

This is site-specific in that is based on attention to existing architectural sites and syntaxes, making links with the psychology of the ruined landscape.

With an attunement to the dysfunctional or derelict in the margins of our inhabited buildings, I work to shift the atmospheres and spatial or temporal perspectives, using imagery and materials to subtly disrupt the stability of the buildings we live and work in. The cycles of building, growth and decay are interesting to me, as our familiar architectures often exist far beyond their intended use and our lifespans.
